Architect Earthmakers is an architecture and interior design studio working across Punjab, Himachal and Haryana. The studio is at Citi Centre, SCO 52, GMADA Aerocity, in Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar (Mohali), and has been in practice since 2006.
Kothis and houses — new build and renovation — along with apartment buildings and rented floors, and offices, showrooms and commercial fit-outs. Interiors are part of the same commission rather than a separate one: the practice draws the building and the rooms inside it.
Vastu is settled on the drawings from the sketch stage, alongside the structure, the light and the bye-laws — not corrected on site afterwards. There is nothing to charge separately for: it is part of the architectural fee because it is part of the drawing.
The same people throughout. Every project is drawn by the people who visit the site, and there is no separate design team and no handover — the person who takes your first call is the person marking up the drawings a year later.
